STEWARDS and police were forced to separate Rangers fans from Napoli stars amid angry scenes after the final whistle at Ibrox last night.
A video shared on social media shows the incident after the 3-0 win for the Italians– with an object thrown at the Napoli players as they did their cool down after the match.

Rangers conceded TWO penalties on the night as the Neapolitans outlasted a spirited Rangers display to pile the pain onto Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
And the video shows a group of Rangers fans, behind the goal at the Broomloan Road end where the club’s ultras generally congregate, involved in the altercation with the visiting stars after the final whistle.
It shows a group of fans rushing towards the Napoli players – as they wait on the goalline to do their warm down.
Uruguayan star Mathias Olivera was in close attendance – with words appearing to be exchanged with the Ibrox fans and the star turning round again as he ran off.

The Italian side’s security detail, Ibrox stewards and police were quickly on the scene to stop the incident from escalating.
The unidentified object is thrown in their direction of the stars as they run off to do their cool down – but appears to fall short.
If mentioned in the delegate’s report, the incident could land the Gers in hot water with Uefa again after the club were hit with a total of NINE fines last season – dishing out more than £100,000 in penalties.
But a Police Scotland spokesman told the Scottish Sun that NO arrests were made linked to the match last night.
Meanwhile, Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst praised his players on the night – despite the heavy defeat.
Allan McGregor saved TWO penalties after James Sands was sent off – but Napoli scored three goals in the last 22 minutes.
Boss van Bronckhorst claimed the result was harsh and saw improvement after the 4-0 defeats to Celtic and Ajax.
He said: “The performance was really good. The result wasn’t – but I don’t think we deserved a 3-0 loss.
“If you see how the game went and how my players reacted after last week, we were well in the game.
“We had some big chances but in the end, the 3-0 result didn’t reflect the game we had.”
